Opportunity to make a difference for children and adolescents! 

This opening is to serve as the C&A Psychiatrist for a 52 bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility
(PRTF) caring for both young boys and girls from TN, NV, KY, AR , WV and NC. 

The facility has both a long-term program for boys as well as girls and also offers a short term 60 day Intensive treatment program. 

The campus includes a Therapeutic Day School with 9 classrooms, infirmary, play therapy rooms, library and clinical offices.  The PRTF and Therapeutic day School both are JCAHO accredited.

You would be joining a team of trained professionals (clinicians, social workers, nurses, teachers, psychologists) in helping these young people find the means to deal with life and improve and thrive.  So this is an opportunity to make a real difference!

The position can be for three - four days or full-time and offers an exceptional pay package and benefits which we can share with you.

This community is on the out-skirts of Knoxville, TN (30 minutes to downtown) and you are also only 30 minutes to Crossville, TN (Home of Fairfield Glades Resort), and just an hour- and –a-half to Chattanooga, TN.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.  Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proved residency training in Psychiatry and a Fellowship in C&A Psychiatry.
