Perm PA Needed for Psych Mental Health

About Position:
NP/PA to provide healthcare services to Young Adult/Adult patients in Psych Mental Health Hospital Inpatient general floor rounding on patients. Rounding on patients to check for stability and prescribe medication as directed. Position Duties: Obtains detailed history, performing physical and/or psychological examinations. Regulates and Adjusts Medications and Treatments Monitor and record progress, evaluates plan of care and makes modifications accordingly Consults and collaborates with members of the healthcare team in the assessment of management of mental health problems. Provides teaching and counseling aimed at prevention of illness and accident modification of risk factors to health, and maintenance of high level wellness

Required Skills and Certificates:

2 years` experience as a PA
Must have BLS and ACLS
Active VT State License (willing to wait for the right provider) DEA required (willing to wait for the right provider)
Able to work despite interruptions Able to meet deadlines under pressure EMR Used Meditech


Hours Needed:

M-F 8 AM to 5 PM, NO CALL
Start: As soon as possible
Location: S. Central Vermont, Approx. 65 miles North of Massachusetts state line and 20 miles East of the New York state line. HISTORIC CITY!
