Position Description:

 

In this leadership role, you will be expected to manage the day-to-day operations of the Radiology department in an efficient manner; ensuring an effective diagnosis and treatment of disease while following departmental philosophy and goals.

 

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

* Assist in maintaining the highest degree of clinical/operational performance and customer satisfaction

* Provide operational oversight in the following areas of medical imaging: X-ray, CT Scan and MRI

* Support the mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives of Penn Medicine

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

* Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role

* Registered in Radiology Technology by the ARRT or an appropriate credentialing agency

*Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in healthcare related field preferred

* Strong human resources, communications and organization development skills and knowledge

* Demonstrated ability to lead staff and faculty to ensure that the department’s long-term objectives are achieved

* An understanding of physician, patient and technical operations

* Excellent customer service skills
