Seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join a practice in central Georgia. This is a Hospitalist position with expectations of education participation. Medical Center is starting a Psychiatry GME Program to begin in 2017. The unit consists of 42 inpatient beds and is staffed by 1 Psychiatry Medical Director and 2 staff psychiatry Hospitalists. Inpatient programming consists of an Adult unit, Geriatric unit, STAR (Stress, Trauma, Addiction, Recovery) unit specializing in the treatment of PTSD and a planned ECT service to begin late 2017.
