Seeking an Endovascular Neurologist to join a growing cerebral endovascular program in eastern North Carolina. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible neurologist with advanced training in endovascular/ interventional stroke techniques.
• Hospital employed
• Opportunity available due to service line expansion
o Mechanical thrombectomy volume has doubled in past year
o Significant increase in subarachnoid hemorrhage volume
• Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center pending accreditation in Fall 2018
• Established team of 2 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons
• Expanding NSICU to 16 beds in Spring, 2018 and unit led by Neurointensivist
• 24/7 dedicated neuro interventional room
• 1 Phillips Biplane with 2nd biplane under construction for Fall 2018
• Endovascular Stroke Call 1:3 all at Hub hospital of large Health system
