Cross Country has a new need for Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist need near Boca Raton, FL. Call and minimum inpatient work. Details are as follows.

This facility does not have a psych ward. This is only for psychiatric care to adult patients admitted to medical, surgical and obstetric units of the hospital. The service assists with the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric conditions related to medical illness, whether these are physiological, such as delirium related to infection, or psychological, such as emotional reactions to illness. The service also assists in medical conditions related to psychiatric illness, such as anorexia nervosa, or to psychiatric treatment, such as side effects of psychotropic medications. • 48 hour weekend call twice a month
• No inpatient unit, working with patients admitted to hospital with other conditions
• Psychosomatic medicine
• Would prefer Consultative Liaison Psychiatrist or Geriatric Psychiatrist
• Travel and Lodging covered
• Malpractice covered
• Weekly pay
