MDA (Medical Doctor Associates) is actively searching for psychiatrists interested in doing per diem weekend coverage at Northern State Prison in Newark.
Duties would include up to six weekend hours seeing intakes, doing follow-up visits, and addressing emergencies in the crisis unit and elsewhere as necessary in the facility. Either Saturdays or Sundays may be chosen to fit the preference of the doctor. This can be every weekend (preferred), though it is also possible to be part of a rotation with other psychiatrists. Board certification and correctional experience are preferred, but not required. Please send me CVs of interested candidates.
