MDA is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) Family Medicine (FM) Physician with OB experience to help with coverage for combination inpatient and outpatient opportunity in South Dakota.
Coverage will be a combination of Clinic and call. Typical week would be 3 days of clinic with 1 day a week for second call in ER and primary OB. OB patients include some high risk with average deliveries for the hospital at 1 per day. ER volume averages 5 patients per 24 hours. Trauma surgeon available to help with c sections and OB/GYN on if surgeon not available. Must have prior experience with OB and C sections. Must have ACLS, NRP, ATLS. Requires SD license. They would prefer someone who is willing to do 6-12 month contract but will take 2 weeks on 2 off if necessary.
