Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Family Medicine Physician to fill a part-time position. Primary duties include: provide direct medical management of patients in a community clinic setting and in a protocol based practice, perform medical examinations on male, female, and pediatric patients, provide comprehensive reproductive health care, act as medical supervisor and consultant to staff mid-level clinicians both on site and by telephone, take an active role in quality assurance and outcome analysis, maintain availability during clinic hours, serve on after hours telephone call rotation for consultation with clinicians nights and weekends, contribute to achieving health center productivity goals, ensure correct coding for all services provided, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Current CA state medical license and DEA certification. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics. Experience in delivering prenatal care and pre/post abortion care. Current (or willingness to obtain) active staff membership at one or more local hospitals. Current CPR certification. Valid CA state Drivers’ License. Spanish speaking desired. 3-5 years’ experience.
