Job Description
We are seeking inside sales representatives with at least 2 years of inside sales experience in a B2B setting to join our team headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts. Applicants with experience in the market research industry are highly desirable. Applicants with experience selling software-as-a-service (SaaS), or cloud-based solutions are also highly desirable.
In this role, you will identify and engage with market research professionals to understand their analysis and reporting needs and present the MarketSight value proposition. It will be your responsibility to manage the entire sales process: to initiate, present, negotiate, and close software sales with small- to medium-sized market research firms and corporate market research departments.
Responsibilities
- Identify individual prospects in well-defined target markets
- Initiate contact with prospects to understand their needs and present our value proposition
- Work with the Customer Success Team to develop and deliver tailored, engaging, product demonstrations to a diverse audience to include executives, market researchers, marketing professionals, business analysts, and IT professionals
- Close deals with small to medium sized businesses, meeting quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
- Four-year undergraduate degree required
- At least 2 years experience selling software - SaaS sales experience preferred
- Experience in the Market Research Industry a plus
- Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal skills
- Ability to understand complex client challenges
- Ability to present our technology solutions to qualified prospects
- Ability to work effectively with minimal direct oversight
- Ability to learn quickly and consistently perform at a high level
- The skills and desire to thrive as part of a team
