Marketing Internship, Paid - Up to 20 hours / week

iHire, an industry-focused online talent platform headquartered in Downtown Frederick, MD, seeks a qualified, creative, and self-motivated intern to join our marketing and product development team. You will contribute to multiple marketing channels including, but not limited to, content marketing, social media marketing, SEO, SEM, video, and email.

Responsibilities

• Research and propose topics for blogs, career advice articles, and social media posts
• Create and schedule social media posts and images
• Research and create infographics and memes for online distribution
• Write career advice articles and blog posts on a variety of topics
• Research interesting and timely topics for articles, posts, and potential influencer marketing targets
• Perform keyword research
• Assist with testing email campaigns, onsite user experience, and A/B testing
• Assist with image library optimization
• Assist with developing short video content
• Perform SEO content audits
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Working toward a marketing, sales, advertising, English, communications, or related degree
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in small teams
• Experience with social media, video, blogging, and other marketing channels a plus
