Job Description


Be part of an experienced and highly trained team of clinicians! As a Clinician you are responsible to deliver treatment to private families & children, contract referrals and clients in our residential programs.   We have 3 primary treatment modalities:  DBT, Functional Family Therapy, and equine therapy (EAGALA).  Clinicians are trained in at least one modality.    An IYR Clinician is part of a team of clinicians delivering services in SW Idaho.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients on assigned caseload
  • Prepares individualized  Treatment Plans, performs treatment updates through staffings, treatment plan reviews,  and progress notes,
  • Formulates and implements treatment strategies for each client
  • Responsible for adherence to the identified program model and demonstrate competencies in providing clinical services
  • Formulates and participates in the development and implementation of reintegration plans for each client and client-family
  • Ensures that treatment integrity is addressed and improved through monitoring, tracking and systematic clinical evaluations and actively participates in clinical supervision
  • Works as a mentor to newer team members and interns
  • Directs and provides crisis intervention services as needed 

Education & Experience

Master’s degree (or higher) in a human services field (e.g., social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy).

Licensure associated with the degree.  Specific substance abuse certification may be required depending on program (e.g., CADC).

Certification in Functional Family Therapy may be required.

Certification in the GAIN I and WIT may be required depending on the program.

Two years experience providing counseling and/or crisis intervention services to families and adolescents (preferred).

Some experience working in a clinical, residential or home-based program (preferred).
