GK has an immediate need for a contract Community Manager for our apartment community. The Community Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the apartment community including the supervision of all administrative and physical aspects

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Previous Expierence with Project Based Section 8
- Familiar with mass annual recertification process
- familiat with EIV system
- Utilize company resources to facilitate leasing
- Establish and achieve financial goals by effectively qualifying prospective residents
- Prepare lease documents and related paperwork;Update records as necessary
- Coordinate maintenance of property w/ appropriate support to keep project quality at IAC standards
- Develop a motivated community team through effective personnel management
- Thorough inspections and follow-through, strive to maintain and improve value in the community
- Assist the Regional Manager, as needed in long-range planning, and communications
- Introduce the resident to our apartment procedures
- Be responsible for after-hours and emergency on-call coverage
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Practice good customer relations

 

Job Requirements:

- 2+ years Residential Living experience required
- Experience with 50 or more units
- Affordable Housing Experience
- Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- General office and bookkeeping skills
- Sales and customer service skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.
- Superior customer service skills
