Full time APP Position includes days and nights

Trauma Program:

  • 590-bed Acute Care Facility
  • Level I Trauma Center (State Verified)
  • Hybrid OR (16 surgical suites, includes 1 designated for trauma)
  • 32 bed open ICU (16 surg + 16 medical)
  • ED Volume: 60k per year (50% are transfers in)
  • Emergency General Surgery covered 14 days/ mo by Trauma team
  • HCA hospital network of 5 hospitals funnels into Research MC
  • Trauma admits avg 2000/ yr (20% penetrating)
  • Transfer out most peds and hand (if reattachment needed)
  • Trauma service census: 15-35/ day (volume spikes in summer)

Advanced Practice Professional Criteria:

  • 1st assist & trauma experience preferred
  • DEA, BNDD & ATLS required
