Since 1990, AIDS (1997) Philadelphia FIGHT Community Health Centers have provided culturally competent comprehensive primary care, state of the art HIV primary care to low income members of the community, along with research, consumer education, advocacy, social services and outreach to people living with HIV, communities with high rates of HIV, formerly incarcerated persons, and young people at risk; and they have access to the most advanced clinical research in HIV treatment and prevention.

1.            Clinical Internist that will be focused on primary care medicine and will treat some HIV & Hep C patients

2.            Clinical internist that will be focused on HIV patients

3.            Clinical FP is an option

4.            ID can work although they must do some primary care

 

 

             Schedule is 8 ½ day clinics and 2 ½ day admin slots (32 hrs. clinical time)

             Locations: Jonathan Lax Center for the majority of their clinical time.

 

             Physician will greet patient in waiting room and walk them back to exam room

             Flexible, willing to jump in and do injections, draw blood when needed, they all do vital signs

             Clinician needs the right personality and to be team oriented and patient friendly

 

 

This multidisciplinary team approach is essential to the comprehensive care they provide, the physicians are assisted by an experienced team of nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, adherence counselors, case managers, care outreach workers, and peer educators. They seek to provide a client-friendly environment where patients are full partners in the development and implementation of their treatment plan.

Diana Baldwin Clinic:

Diana Baldwin Clinic provides HIV-informed, culturally competent behavioral health services that addresses the psychological, social and medical factors that drive the HIV epidemic as well as those that commonly affect individuals living with HIV.

Those who are HIV positive and suffer from depression, loneliness, compulsive behaviors, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, or family/relationship problems, the Diana Baldwin Clinic is the right place for you to get help.

Treatment Team: The outpatient mental health clinic is staffed by licensed master’s level professional therapists who are committed to providing an integrated, holistic approach to therapeutic intervention. Therapists attend specialized trainings throughout the year in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, sexual abuse, and dialectical behavioral therapy

John Bell Health Center: 1207 Chestnut Street: Primary medical care for released prison inmates

The Y-HEP Health Center: 1417 Locust Street:

Free or low-cost primary care and family planning services for young adults. Primary care includes preventive medicine, vaccinations, and physicals, sick and well visits, and referrals to specialists. Family planning services include STI testing, birth control and emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and options counseling, pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears and anal HPV screening and referrals. young people accepted for medical services regardless of their insurance status and support uninsured patients in insurance navigation and enrollment. We offer appointment and walk-in times daily.

Rapid HIV Counseling and Testing is provided onsite in the Y-HEP Health Center and off-site at a variety of locations including universities, clubs, and other places where young people gather. They provide pre- and post-test risk reduction counseling and use a standard 15 minute rapid test. Y-HEP can schedule a time to come out to your site or program to provide rapid HIV testing.

             Care Manager; LPN

             Practice Manager

             Hospital admitting responsibilities

             Call 2 or 3 a month by phone

             Patient hours:

Monday - Friday Hours (9-5)

             An evening schedule is being considered

             Administrative responsibilities are possible but not initially

             $180,000 + for the right candidate

             Contract Length: 2-3 years is standard determine compensation:

             Signing bonus potential

             Health & Life insurance Family (80% Paid by client)

             Commencement Bonus = $10,000

             Voluntary 403(b) Client provides a 3% match on physician contribution
