We are looking for a hard-working and excellent Hospitalist (Internal or Family Medicine) to join us at our facility! We are growing and need to add a least 2-3 Hospitalist's to add to the team. We are also willing to consider new graduates for this position as well. Job Details: - Provides medical care on a continuous basis for non-assigned patients admitted to the hospitalist service and provides medical consultations on inpatients at the request of other specialties. - Establish and maintain good communication and working relationships with members of the hospitalist staff, nursing staff, case management and other hospital departments.
Collaborates with referring primary care physicians. -Accept and manage patients in the Intensive Care Unit on the hospitalist service or on consultation. - On-site coverage hours include weekdays and appropriate coverage on weekends. (On-call coverage to be divided among the hospitalist service team.) - Board Certified Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine - New York State Licensure and current Registration Required - 3 Professional References Behind the scenes:
