Location: New York City - The Bronx! Facility: An acute care teaching Hospital that provides both inpatient outpatient and consult mental health services. 49-bed Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit serving adults aged 18 and older with psychiatric disorders. Forensics and substance abuse specialized training and bilingual English/Spanish is strongly desired. Opportunity: Opportunity for an Adult psychiatrist. This is a full-time position working in the inpatient unit with flexibility needed for consults and ER coverage where necessary. Covering 12 inpatients with 6 patients being supervisory only working with a psychiatry resident. No call evenings or and weekends. Other work moonlighting is available and reimbursed at a rate of $180 to $200/hour. Academically affiliated with two university programs. Compensation: Salary is very competitive with full benefits as well.
