Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Vitalize Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments to evaluate their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized care plans that focus on achieving measurable patient goals and enhancing their quality of life.
• Providing direct therapy services using evidence-based treatment approaches, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as needed.
• Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Instructing patients and their families on exercises, therapeutic devices, and home care protocols to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to track effectiveness and progress.
• Managing your caseload efficiently by prioritizing patient needs and coordinating staffing requirements when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of outpatient clients, including adults and children dealing with various therapeutic and rehabilitative challenges. Your role will involve treating patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and age-related physical challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Physical Therapy license for the state of California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.
• No prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and new entrants to the field.

Preferred Experience

While experience is not mandatory, candidates who possess practical training in outpatient therapy settings or relevant clinical rotations during their education will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
