Job description

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Saint Mary Home is a member of Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC), one of the nation's largest Catholic health care systems.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager to lead our fast-paced, 30-bed rehabilitation unit serving a high-acuity, medically complex patient population. This role requires a confident leader who can effectively manage high patient volume and complex clinical needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and staff on the unit
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Manage staffing, workflow, and team performance
  • Collaborate across disciplines and maintain compliance
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Registered Nurse in the state of CT
  • *Prior leadership or supervisory experience required*
  • Rehab, skilled nursing, or acute care experience preferred
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Ability to supervise, coach, mentor and develop nursing staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Current CPR certification
