About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Austin Major Group to find a qualified Cardiology PA in Ohio!

We are seeking a Physician Assistant for a full-time locum assignment beginning in October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative cardiology team in a primarily outpatient setting with limited inpatient consult responsibilities.

Overview

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Estimated 20 shifts per month
  • No call required
  • EMR: Epic
  • Primarily outpatient cardiology clinic
  • Some inpatient consults as needed
  • Average patient volume: Up to 12 patients per day
  • No clinic responsibilities on days assigned to inpatient consults

Responsibilities

  • Provide general cardiology care in an outpatient setting
  • Evaluate and manage patients independently
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
  • Perform inpatient consults as needed

Requirements

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant
  • Active Ohio state license
  • DEA and CSR required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Prior cardiology experience preferred
