About the Role:
Join TEXAS HEALTH AND SCIENCE UNIVERSITY as an Instructor in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. This exciting opportunity allows you to share your expertise and passion for holistic health in a vibrant academic environment in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to diverse student groups.
  • Develop and update curriculum to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Provide mentorship and academic support to students throughout their learning journey.
  • Conduct research in the field of acupuncture and herbal medicine.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of holistic health practices.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay current with advancements in acupuncture and herbal medicine practices.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, or a related field. (Doctorate Degree Preferred)
  • Current licensure to practice acupuncture in Texas.
  • Experience in teaching or training in a higher education setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for holistic health and commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Research experience in acupuncture or herbal medicine is a plus.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and learning.
