Job description

Job Summary:
Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) delivers high-impact, technical solutions to complex national security issues. They are seeking a Systems Engineer to provide onsite support in Alexandria, VA, working with a multidisciplinary team to conduct rigorous analysis and develop systems engineering tools.
Responsibilities:
• collating, cleaning, and leveraging broad and varied datasets
• developing and employing systems engineering and modeling and simulation tools and methods
• contributing to the design and execution of repeatable analytic approaches
• briefing and training both technical and non-technical audiences on products and deliverables
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience conducting systems engineering, modeling and simulation, research, and analysis
• Experience collating, cleaning, and leveraging broad and varied datasets to produce rigorous analysis
• Experience with systems engineering, software engineering, or statistical analysis
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
Preferred:
• Master's degree
• Experience with the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) software
• Experience conducting Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
• Experience designing and employing repeatable analytic methods for both structured and unstructured data
• Familiarity with science and technology development programs or military operations
