Job description

GENERAL:

Swift Lumber, Inc. is seeking to fill a current opening position as a Maintenance Mechanic with a self-motivated, conscientious team player who has a positive attitude.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work safely.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
  • Rebuild, repair, and installation of rotating equipment.
  • Weld in all positions.
  • Hydraulic system knowledge and troubleshooting is a MUST.
  • MUST have experience with diesel forklifts and loaders.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to define the problem.
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow maintenance skills.
  • MUST be able to provide his or her own tools.
  • Available to work over-time.
  • MUST be able to attend work as scheduled.
