Fast-growing multi-channel e-commerce business seeking a highly organized, technical, and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Manager. In this role, you will be the anchor of our digital backend, responsible for configuring, optimizing, and scaling our multi-channel architecture via Rithum (formerly ChannelAdvisor). You will oversee our core inventory pipeline, manage our direct-to-consumer website via Shopify, and ensure our product data flows flawlessly to major marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Target Plus, Poshmark, Shein, and TikTok. Deep, hands-on experience with ChannelAdvisor/Rithum and Amazon Seller Central is strictly required.
Key Responsibilities
Rithum (ChannelAdvisor) Configuration & Backend Management
Act as the primary administrator for Rithum, handling complex backend setups, custom business rules, lookups, and mapping expressions.
Configure and maintain marketplace integrations to ensure seamless data flows between Rithum and all connected channels.
Independently diagnose and resolve platform-specific feed errors (e.g., Amazon Error 8541/5000 match conflicts, Walmart ingest errors) using processing reports and advanced Rithum mapping modifications.
Listing Optimization & Digital Asset Management
Build, launch, and optimize multi-channel product listings from the ground up.
Manage and enrich product listings by updating metadata, SEO keywords, backend search terms, attributes, and high-quality images.
Ensure absolute consistency in brand voice, product accuracy, and cross-channel pricing rules to prevent accidental buy-box suppression or margin loss.
Inventory Reconciliation, API Logistics, & Account Health
Own the inventory sync process, verifying that physical warehouse stock matches exactly what Rithum reports and what marketplaces display.
Monitor how e-commerce APIs, FTP feeds, and warehouse management data talk to Rithum to prevent lagging sync times and ghost inventory.
Continuously monitor account health metrics across all platforms (Amazon Performance Metrics, Walmart Scorecards, Target Plus SLAs) and proactively resolve listing suppressions or policy violations.
Website Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations, catalog accuracy, theme updates, and backend functionality of our direct-to-consumer e-commerce website [Specify platform if known, e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce].
Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years of dedicated e-commerce operations, catalog management, or multi-channel retail experience.
Expert-level, hands-on proficiency with Rithum / ChannelAdvisor is mandatory. You must thoroughly understand data mapping, custom attributes, and feed scheduling.
strong knowledge of backend Shopify set up and configuration
Deep knowledge of Amazon Seller Central (including flat-file uploads, catalog creation, and error resolution) is required. Direct experience with Walmart Seller Center, Target Plus, TikTok Shop, or Shein is highly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data cleaning) for handling large datasets and catalog imports/exports.
Strong understanding of e-commerce SEO, metadata structures, and digital image optimization standards.
