Performs tasks like:  Establishing a compassionate environment acknowledging and attending to physiological and psychological needs; Closely monitoring status of patient under his\/her care; Observing patient, recording significant conditions and reactions, and notifying healthcare team as needed of patient's condition; and Educating patient on procedures and treatments to gain cooperation, understanding and allay apprehension.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>\n
\n MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Indiana<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • One (1) or more years hospital staff nursing experience<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Recent experience in ICU
    <\/li>\n
  • Telemetry certified
    <\/li>\n
  • Current Healthcare BLS and ACLS certification <\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
    \n HIGHLY PREFERRED:<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN)<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • Two (2) or more years hospital staff nursing experience<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • TB and IV certification (or willing to obtain within department guidelines)<\/span><\/span>
