We are looking for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who bring clinical expertise, sound medical judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care. Our PMHNPs play a critical role in diagnosing and treating behavioral health conditions, managing medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, integrated care. Responsibilitiesย
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients across the lifespan (ages 5+).ย
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with patient goals.ย
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.ย
- Collaborate with primary care providers and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-person care.ย
- Address co-occurring disorders, including substance use, with a comprehensive, evidence-driven approach.ย
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in partner-site EHR systems to support care continuity.ย
- Engage patients through telehealth platforms to ensure accessibility and equity in care delivery.ย
What We're Looking Forย
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with an active licenseย
ย - Strong preference for license in Texas
- At least three years of clinical experience in community-based mental health settingsย
- Commitment to full-time engagementย
- Ability to manage complex cases independently, demonstrating strong clinical judgmentย
- A passion for building and shaping behavioral health programs that evolve with patient needsย
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital tools, ensuring effective remote patient engagementย ย
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, working across teams and patient populationsย
