Currently hiring for shifts:

• 1st Shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: Mon-Thurs 4:30 pm to 3 am

JOB SUMMARY:

Receives work order and blueprints to determine part specifications. Sets up and operates all machines in the CNC MILLING department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, maintain, and operate CNC Mills.
• Operate the mill to produce production parts and prototype parts with minimal supervision.
• Review work orders to obtain part specifications.
• Responsible for setting up tooling and fixtures independently.
• Perform periodic inspections to ensure parts are within required tolerances.
• Knowledgeable and able to operate either Haas or Fanuc controls.
• Able to edit programs under supervision to correct dimensional issues that may arise during initial set-up.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Requires knowledge of advanced mathematics, properties of metals, capabilities of tools and machines, extensive knowledge of machining techniques, and basic computer knowledge. Knowledge is acquired through trade school and or extensive CNC experience. Knowledge of fixtures and or any attachments that could be used to manufacture parts on milling machines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the machining industry

QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive knowledge of math, measuring tools, hand tools, blueprint reading, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience on CNC Milling machine tools.
