Overview

Dental Receptionist

Metropolitan Endodontics

At Metropolitan Endodontics, patient care and teamwork are at the center of everything we do. As a respected dental practice, we are committed to providing high quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, creating a positive and professional experience. You will play an important role in ensuring daily operations run efficiently while supporting both patients and the clinical team.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Fridayย 


Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
