MasTec Advanced Technologies partners with some of the nation’s largest companies to keep communities connected. We’re looking for motivated Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team and bring high-speed internet, TV, and phone service to homes and businesses in your area.

What You'll Do


As a Fiber Technician, you'll be the face of MasTec, helping customers stay connected to what matters most. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Installing, splicing, repairing, and terminating fiber-optic cables and connectors (indoor and outdoor).
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining fiber broadband equipment.
  • Keeping accurate records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.
  • Ensuring each customer receives top-quality service with professionalism and care.
  • Applying initiative, responsibility, and flexibility to solve challenges in the field.
