Job description

Janitorial Sanitation Specialist: SNC Dayton.
Position Title: Janitorial / Sanitation Supervisor.
Location: Vandalia, OH 45377.
Schedule: FT M-F, 5 days, 8 hours per day, 40 hours total.
Salary: $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Supply Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • OSHA Standards: Ensure all staff follow safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Correction of Deficiencies: Hold staff accountable for "re-cleans." If an inspection fails, the supervisor ensures the original cleaner corrects the work immediately to reinforce standards.
  • Time and Attendance: Ensure staff are on time and that the attendance policy is being implemented.
  • Training: Train new staff on cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Working Supervisor: Lead by Example: A - Perform cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, vacuuming) to the highest standard to set the visual benchmark for the rest of the crew. B - Step in and personally clean zones when staff members are absent or when the workload exceeds the team's capacity.   • Daily Operation: Ensuring adequate coverage for all areas of the facility, including holiday and emergency staffing.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for staff disputes or personnel issues.
  • Communication: Honest, consistent, and transparent communication with the immediate MRI Area Manager about staff performance, attendance, and areas of improvement.
  • Security - Ensuring staff stay within compliance of the site's strict phone and badging policies .
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must have a smartphone for clocking in/out.
