Job description

Piano Teacher (Part-Time) – Prosper / Frisco Area, TX

$33–$40/hour (W-2 Employee)

Maestro Musicians Academy is seeking a passionate piano teacher to join our growing team as we expand into the Prosper and Frisco area.

Since 2014, Maestro Musicians Academy has helped hundreds of children develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love of music through high-quality private instruction. We currently serve families in Massachusetts and Ohio and are now expanding into North Texas.

If you enjoy working with children and want to focus on teaching while we handle the marketing, scheduling, billing, and administration, we would love to hear from you.

Teaching Schedule

Typical teaching hours:

• Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Applicants should be available for at least one consistent teaching day per week (minimum 4 hours).

Responsibilities

• Teach weekly private piano lessons to children and teens
• Communicate positively with parents regarding student progress
• Maintain a consistent teaching schedule
• Prepare students for performances and recitals
• Keep brief lesson notes and attendance records

Qualifications

• Experience teaching piano to children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and professional
• Bachelor's degree in Music preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and build long-term relationships with students and families

About the Opportunity

This position is ideal for teachers who enjoy becoming part of a growing program and helping students progress over many years.

Initial teaching hours will be based on enrollment demand and teacher availability, with opportunities for additional students as the program grows.

Location

Prosper / Frisco Area, Texas

Teaching location is being finalized and will be selected based on student enrollment and teacher availability.
