Inventory Analyst
Full-Time • Cincinnati, OH 45241 • Supply Chain amp; Logistics
About the Role
KDM is seeking a results-driven Inventory Analyst to join our operations team in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will monitor and manage inventory levels, analyze stock trends, and work cross-functionally to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs. You will play a key role in supporting KDM’s supply chain efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability across KDM locations
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction
- Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to support purchasing decisions
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to align inventory with business needs
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Generate and present inventory performance reports to management
- Support ERP system data integrity and assist with system improvements
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend disposition strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain analysis
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling)
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central or other ERP platforms
- Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting methodologies
- APICS CPIM or equivalent inventory/supply chain certification
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
