Janecyk Construction is a union commercial drywall, acoustic ceilings, and rough carpentry contractor specializing in office build-out, retail and industrial projects. Our office is located in Posen (off of I-57 at 147th street).

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED ESTIMATOR to join our team! You will be responsible for the procurement and management of commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling projects, We are looking for a highly energetic and organized individual who is looking to begin a career, or looking to change positions within the commercial construction industry. Previous experience as a drywall estimator required. Initial salary based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Review construction drawings and documents to determine scope of work.
• Read, understand, and analyze project drawings and specifications.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial bids using OST and Quick Bid.
• Communicate with team members regarding new and current projects.
• Manage construction projects from beginning to completion.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills reading blueprints.
• Provide accurate take-offs using Quick Bid and OST.
• Can effectively manage and prioritize workload as required.
• Must have ability to multi-task without impacting attention to detail.
• Computer experience required.
• Must have a positive and energetic attitude.

This is a salary position with medical benefits provided.

Compensation is based on experience.
