Location: Highland Park, MI

As our eCommerce business continues to grow, we're expanding our online sales channels through eBay, and other channels including our website. We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping customers while supporting our digital sales operations.

Position Summary

The eCommerce Digital Sales Representative is responsible for supporting Holbrook's growing online sales business by managing product listings, responding to customer inquiries, processing online orders, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across multiple digital platforms.

This role serves as the bridge between our inventory, warehouse, and customers—ensuring accurate product information, timely order processing, and responsive communication. As Holbrook expands its digital footprint, this position will play an important role in increasing online sales and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Online Sales & Customer Support

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries through eBay regarding:
  • Vehicle fitment
  • Product availability
  • Pricing
  • Shipping
  • General product questions
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining positive seller ratings.
  • Process and manage incoming orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Support future website sales, customer inquiries, and online order management.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with sales, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. eCommerce & Digital Merchandising
  • Create, edit, and maintain eBay listings with accurate titles, descriptions, compatibility information, and item specifics.
  • Upload quality product photos that accurately represent each part.
  • Research market pricing to ensure competitive listings.
  • Optimize listings using SEO best practices to maximize online visibility and sales.
  • Monitor listing performance and make updates to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and company standards.
  • Inventory & Product Management
  • Identify automotive parts appropriate for online sale.
  • Verify part numbers, interchange information, and vehicle compatibility.
  • Inspect products for quality and completeness.
  • Clean and prepare parts for photography and shipment when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across online sales platforms.
  • Assist with organizing online inventory and storage locations.
  • Operational Support
  • Meet daily and weekly listing, order processing, and customer response goals.
  • Maintain low return rates through accurate listings and communication.
  • Assist with new eCommerce initiatives and process improvements.
  • Support additional digital sales projects as Holbrook continues to expand its online presence.
  • Qualifications

    Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Positive, customerfirst attitude.
  • Willingness to learn automotive parts and online sales systems.
  • Preferred
  • Automotive parts knowledge.
  • Previous customer service or inside sales experience.
  • Experience with eBay, Amazon Marketplace, Shopify, or other eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience with automotive ordering systems.
  • Experience in automotive recycling, aftermarket parts, dealership parts, or salvage operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout warehouse and office areas.
  • Ability to inspect, photograph, and prepare automotive parts for online sale.
  • Prolonged periods of computer work and typing.
