This role is responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client's customer base.
This role will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business.
This individual should be a motivated sales executive with domestic logistics experience and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Must Have’s:
Looking for minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics Sales
Knowledge of North American transportation lanes and carrier relationships.
Strong record of adding new accounts and client retention.
Need to bring a book a business with them – previous clients that they can convert over to them.
No non-compete.
No non-solicitation.
Be able to secure new clients.
Understand FTL / LTL with a non-asset-based logistics company
Hazmat Shipping / Logistics to get shipments across boarders of Mexico and Canada a plus.
Understand Flatbed, drayage, and intermodal solutions a plus.
Aggressive in sales – 90% of what they do would be to find new accounts that needs shipping source. (After they sell, they have a coordination take over to coordinate shipping requests, etc.)
Be able to make relationships and secure new business.
Profession acumen.
Being that this is full time remote work – be very responsive to internal company communications.
