• 1+ year of experience in a legal position, personal injury experience a plus. Meticulous attention to detail and organization<\/li>
• Working knowledge of Chartswap, CIOX, Healthport, etc.<\/li>
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and similar software<\/li><\/ul>","responsibilities":"

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Requesting medical records and itemized billing<\/li>
  • Setting up claims with insurance carriers (liability, uninsured motorist, umbrella, etc.)<\/li>
  • Setting up claims with health insurance companies (e.g., Medicare, CMS, Medicaid, ERISA, VA)<\/li>
  • Sending open records requests (police reports, 911 calls, CAD reports, etc.)<\/li>
  • Corresponding with medical providers<\/li>
  • Obtaining lien verifications and final closure letters from providers and insurance companies<\/li>
  • Assisting Case Managers with tasks as needed<\/li>
