Position Summary
Brookside Country Club is seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Food Runner to support our dining service team. This role is essential in ensuring food orders are delivered quickly and accurately while helping create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our members and guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others, and takes pride in providing excellent hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and professionally
• Ensure each dish is presented correctly and matches the order ticket before leaving the kitchen
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency during peak service periods

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
• Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to carry multiple plates and lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work in a warm, high-energy kitchen environment
