📋 Role Overview

  • Project Name: PRJ0251765 National Accuracy Clearinghouse (NAC) - Onboarding with USDA FNS & Upgrade of RFMS
  • Location: 40 North Pearl St, Albany NY 12043 (Up to 50% Telecommuting allowed)
  • Duration: 30 Months (Target Start Date: June 29, 2026)
  • Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Full-time, 40 hours/week, negotiable)

🎯 Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Requirements Elicitation: Define business needs, assess capability gaps in existing solutions, and determine approach strategies (e.g., business cases, fit-gap analysis, functional specifications).
  • Documentation & Modeling: Communicate business process requirements to IT staff, program staff, and stakeholders via business process flows, fit-gap analysis, or functional designs.
  • Testing & Validation: Evaluate system testing outcomes, develop test scenarios/scripts/data, review test results, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Planning & Impact Analysis: Analyze the impact of requirement modifications on project timelines and priorities.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Encourage stakeholders to resolve design issues prior to implementation; mentor state staff and junior Business Analysts.

1. Core Business Analysis & Modeling (25 Max Points)
  • 84+ Months of experience writing and analyzing detailed business requirement documents and use cases. (15 Points)
  • 84+ Months of experience creating use case diagrams and activity diagrams using UML techniques and Microsoft Visio. (10 Points)
2. UI/UX & Session Facilitation (20 Max Points)
  • 84+ Months of experience designing and developing Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for large-scale systems (1,000+ users). (10 Points)
  • 84+ Months of experience organizing Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and presenting system documents to developers and users. (10 Points)
3. QA Testing & Team Leadership (20 Max Points)
  • 84+ Months of experience testing software modules using TFS / Azure DevOps for logging defects, writing test plans/cases/scenarios, and coordinating UAT. (10 Points)
