Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support individuals with behavioral needs, working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement customized treatment plans. This role is pivotal in promoting skill development and improving the quality of life for individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA.
- Provide direct therapy to individuals in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Collect and record data on individual progress and behavior changes according to prescribed methods.
- Maintain appropriate records and prepare detailed reports of daily activities and progress monitoring.
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and certification requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children or adults with special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Patience, compassion, and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
