These businesssynergies have fueled our growth to become the largest hardwood sawmill in theUnited States and North Americaas foremost producer of crane mats and timbersfor the energy transmission, utility, and construction industries.

In addition to mats andgrade lumber, we offer a product line which includes cross ties, pallet lumber,renewable energy, and finished goods, such as flooring. The Beasley Group workswith customers, large and small, to meet their needs in the domestic and exportmarkets of the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia. We are committed to productquality and service delivery that form the basis for long-term customer loyaltyand satisfaction.

  • Industry: Lumber
  • Wage: Salary and benefits commensurate with experience
  • Education Required: Certified Electrician/Instrumentation Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Technologist
  • Yearsa Experience Required:  Years of Experience Required: 4-7 years of electrical maintenance experience.

Requirements:

  • Certified Electrician/Instrumentation Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Technologist
  • Years of Experience Required: 4-7 years of electrical maintenance experience. Sawmill or wood products experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, with PLC knowledge being critical.
  • Mechanical knowledge is essential.
  • Electronic Work Order System utilization is an asset.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and participate in cross-functional team environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights) and weekend availability required
  • Perform work order assignments, PM activities, and breakdown repairs.
  • Assisting with parts and inventory control and provide periodic updates of work challenges, delays, or completion.
  • Troubleshooting and failure analysis skills (formal training preferred)
  • Commitment to top performance in a safe work environment is necessary.
  • Ensure productivity, housekeeping and quality of work standards are maintained within the electricianas scope of responsibility.

Pay varies based upon the position with advancementopportunities available

-         Wages have recently been increased.

-         B-Shift gets 6% shift differential pay increase wherethe average employee receives an additional $2500+ a year.
