    Job description

    Elementary Site Director- Substitute - Before and After School program 25/26-27 school year

    Location: Jeffco Public Schools, Arvada, CO 80002

If so, the Site Director Substitute position at AlphaBEST Education is perfect for you! We offer relevant training, competitive salary, benefits, and special discount rates for employees' children.

    In this exciting role, you'll be trained and have the chance to do the following:

    • Direct the daily operations of the preschool program in support of policies and procedures
    • Motivate, train, develop, and oversee all on-site staff
    • Organize, evaluate, and oversee the site to create a fun and engaging learning environment
    • Foster relationships by creating open and ongoing communication with parents and site administration
    • Provide a caring family-oriented environment where positive child/adult relationships are developed
    • Provide guidance and feedback to help team members strengthen their knowledge and skills to accomplish individual and team goals
    • Maintain compliance with CO State child-care licensure requirements at the designated site.

    Schedule

    You will need to be able to work M-F 6:15 am-8:15 am and/or 2:00 pm-6:00 pm (estimated time frame) as needed by the program. Flexible scheduling.

    Experience/Qualifications (1 or more of the following:)

    1. Possess a current professional teaching license issued by the Colorado Department of Education with an endorsement in the area of Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Early Childhood Special Education Specialist; or,
    1. Possess a current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher in Version 3.0 as determined by the Department; or,
    1. Current certification as a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in: Center-Based, Preschool; Center-Based, Infant-Toddler; or Family Child Care; or other Department-approved credential; or,
    1. Two (2) years and nine (9) months (5,005 hours) of satisfactory experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children less than eight (8) years of age who are not related to the individual, and at least two (2) three (3)-semester credit hour courses from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, and one (1) of the courses must be either.
