We are seeking a Field Inspector for a role at Alpha Property Management's Los Angeles office. Alpha Property Management manages approximately 2500 units of conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout California.
Qualifications
- Must have maintenance and construction experience
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Property management experience is a plus
- Must be available to rotate on-call shifts
- Must be able to effectively multitask
- Works well in a fast paced environment
- Works under littler to no supervision
- Organized
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Inspect vacancies
- Prepare work orders
- Schedule work
- Prepare/completed administrative paperwork
- Inspect work while in progress
- Conduct final inspections
- Prepare final close our documents
- Prepare resident damage charges
- Conduct property inspections as required
- Interact with site managers
- Receive maintenance requests as required
- Conduct unit inspections
- Conduct/interact with outside contractors, agencies (fire, code enforcement, REAC, Code enforcement, etc.)
- Additional duties as assigned in writing or verbally
