POSITION SUMMARY
AH Group is seeking a dependable and professional Parts Pickup & Delivery Driver to support our Ohio-region field operations. In this role, you will serve as a key link between our customers' manufacturing plants and AH Group's central processing hub, ensuring that MRO industrial parts in need of repair are collected efficiently and returned safely for service. This is a same-day route position โ you will depart from the hub, complete all scheduled plant stops across the Ohio area, and return the same day. No overnight travel is required.
This is an essential, customer-facing role. You represent AH Group on-site at our customers' facilities, and your professionalism, punctuality, and reliability directly reflect on our brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a company van on assigned daily routes to customer manufacturing plants throughout the Ohio region
- Pick up MRO industrial parts from customer facilities designated for inspection & repair
- Transport parts safely and securely back to AH Group's central processing hub in accordance with all company handling procedures
- Verify and document all pickups using packing slips, work orders, or other chain-of-custody documentation; report discrepancies immediately
- Communicate professionally with plant personnel, receiving departments, and on-site contacts at each customer location
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and AH Group fleet safety policies
- Assist with loading and unloading of parts at the hub and customer sites
- Maintain accurate daily route logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch or operations staff regarding delays, route changes, or customer concerns
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Valid U.S. driver's license โ Class D (standard); CDL not required for this role
- Clean driving record with no major violations, license restrictions, or suspensions (MVR check required as part of onboarding)
- Ability to lift and carry industrial parts weighing up to 30โ40 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
- Strong punctuality and time management skills โ route schedules must be met consistently
- Ability to navigate Ohio-region routes independently using GPS and route planning tools
- Professional communication skills for customer plant interactions
Preferred
- Prior experience in a driver, courier, route delivery, or field logistics role
- Experience working in or around industrial/manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with basic parts handling, packing slips, or work order documentation
- Forklift certification or experience operating pallet jacks (helpful for hub loading)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regular lifting of industrial components up to 40 lbs; occasional team lifts for heavier items
- Frequent bending, reaching, and loading/unloading throughout the workday
- Extended periods of driving (vehicle operation for the majority of the workday)
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions when loading/unloading at outdoor dock areas
WORK SCHEDULE & TRAVEL
- Full-time, MondayโFriday; standard business hours with occasional schedule adjustments based on customer needs
- Day routes only โ all travel is same-day within the Ohio region; no overnight stays required
- Home base for departure and return is AH Group's central processing hub
- Some variation in route stops may occur based on customer volume and operational priorities

- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) / driving history check โ a clean record with no major violations or license restrictions is required for hire
