### Description **BASIC PURPOSE:** This position is an essential component of SourceAmerica's Governance-Risk-Compliance (“GRC”) Center of Excellence (“COE”). The candidate should have experience in leadership, risk management, and internal auditing for operational and financial systems. The candidate should have program management skills and a strong knowledge of best practices and procedures surrounding enterprise risk management (“ERM”). The candidate would be expected to facilitate and continuously improve the SourceAmerica GRC program to ensure compliance and proactively protect the organization’s strategic goals, financial strength, and reputation. The candidate will lead cross‐functional risk committees to establish and communicate risk management methodology, processes, risk appetite, and risk culture throughout SourceAmerica. **PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:** * Actively engage with internal Governance and Compliance functions in the GRC COE; * Lead or conduct internal audits of operational and financial systems; * Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor SourceAmerica’s enterprise risks; * Develop and enhance Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an ERM framework; * Ensure the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations and strategic initiatives of the organization; * Oversee and monitor all risk management activities of the organization; * Monitor and analyze risks within the company's brands, regions, and functions, and report on these risks to senior management; * Schedule and prepare agenda, reports, and analyses for recurring update meetings with the Executive Leadership team. * Stay current with best industry practices through training, research, external risk practitioners, and global risk organizations; * Represent Risk Management on corporate or enterprise‐wide projects or policy initiatives; Work collaboratively with other corporate oversight functions to identify and implement consistent and effective approaches to risk governance and control‐based activities; and * Lead the Risk Assurance function and program. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** * Professional Certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors preferred (CGAP, CRMA, or QIAL); * Professional Certification from Enterprise Risk Management Academy preferred (ERMCP or CERG); * Advanced degree with emphasis in Business Administration/Finance/CPA, and relevant business experience; * Qualified candidates will have ten or more years of business experience that includes some combination of treasury, corporate finance, and accounting and 5 years of internal audit/enterprise risk management experience; * Must be able to communicate risk and risk strategies to executive management and conduct risk and control assessments; * Strong project and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and develop process efficiencies where required; * Strong presentation skills, particularly in the development of professional and thoughtful materials; * Highly motivated individual driven to keep pace in a fast moving and dynamic environment; * Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; * Ability to drive key program and process improvements and effectively manage priorities and ambiguity; * Experience leading cross‐functional teams and projects; and * Excellent organization and communication skills. **EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:** * 12+ years with BS/BA; 10+ years with MS/MA * 1½ years experience = 1 year college Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
