The GIS Intern will work with the GIS Manager supporting survey data reviews. The Intern will be trained to perform all levels of survey data review. The ideal candidate will be a Geospatial Technologies/Science student that has hands-on experience using ArcGIS Desktop and understands how to move EXCEL data into a GIS project. The candidate must be familiar with geographic projections and coordinate systems, as well as how to geo-reference image files in a map. Anticipated work schedule will be full time during the summer and winter breaks. 15 hours during the school year. Position is in downtown LA.
Local candidates must be currently enrolled in at least their junior year within a Geospatial Technologies/Science degree program required
Working knowledge of Word and Excel is required
Knowledge of ArcGIS PRO or ArcGIS Desktop 10.3 required
