Receptionist Job Description:
Manpower is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position of Receptionist as part of the Office team within our Human Resources department. The Office team has responsibility for activities related to guest services, facilities management, travel, office projects and general administrative support. The department is global and provide services to offices in Oslo, London, New York, Singapore and Shanghai. Your role will be to facilitate the reception and conference suites to ensure that all visitors receive a professional and pleasant experience whilst visiting New York office. The position is located in New York and it will report to the Head of Office Management. Some travel might be required.
Responsibilities: · Ensuring all meeting rooms are presentable before all meetings throughout the day · Greeting of all visitors and serving refreshments · Answering phone calls for the office and redirect where appropriate · Entering all meeting visitors details in share point meeting log · Direct all visits of all Bank Investment Management employees from other offices so Reception and Office Manager is aware of who will be in the office · Distributing mail to the employees and arrange couriers/out post · Checking stationary stocks and order where necessary · Ordering of catering supplies for office i.e. water, coffee etc. and ensuring kitchens are restocked at all times · Point of contact for deliveries · Deputy fire warden/first aider · Ordering of transport Main Qualifications: The successful applicant will have the following background / skills: · Proactive and self-driven work style and a good team player · Ability to organize and prioritize workload · Ambition to excel · High level of integrity · Excellent collaboration and communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
