COMSEC Support Specialist (Remote/Part-Time)

Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking a COMSEC Support Specialist to provide part-time, remote support to help identify potential security vulnerabilities and interoperability concerns with the transition from Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) to the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI).
This role shall review and monitor the transition from the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) to Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and support the establishment of AEHF Key Loading Initialization Facility / AEHF Local Key Management System (AKLIF/ALKMS) accounts, the integration of KMI into system security plans and Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls, the development of agreements to include Non-interference between programs, Service Level Agreements (SLA)/Memorandums (Memorandums Of Understanding & Project Support Agreement) for sites selected to receive terminals, and monitoring the DoD enterprise transition and/or changes to KMI to identify potential impacts and mitigations to AFLMCMC/HNN terminals.
**This opportunity is contingent on contract award to STS.**
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity or communications security (COMSEC)
+ Experience with Key Management systems, including Electronic Key Management System or Key Management Infrastructure
+ Experience with cryptographic encryption or decryption processes and secure design best practices
+ Experience with networking standards and protocols
+ Experience with network diagrams, network architectures, networking devices
+ Experience with working as part of a team and supporting meetings and deliverables for senior client leadership
+ Ability to be a motivated self-starter, learn quickly, and perform independent research on new security topics and products
+ Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Current Secret clearance is required
