Job description

T&M Associates is seeking a Project Manager to support the Program Management and Construction Management of our Building and Facilities market in Columbus, OH. This is a fully in-person position. As Project Manager, you will work directly with the Senior Project Manager, Design Team, Contractors, Owners and other project participants across various disciplines during the pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases of capital projects. This role may involve managing multiple projects for a variety of clients or serving in a program management capacity as the Responsible Individual in Charge (RIC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Ownerโ€™s Representative, overseeing all phases of the construction process
  • Manage project administration, including schedule, budget, contract change management, and performance tracking
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project objectives and compliance
  • Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure adherence to contract documents and maintain effective communication and collaboration
  • This position may have direct reports or dotted line relationships with the team throughout the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Ownerโ€™s Representative or construction management roles for public sector clients (utilities, infrastructure, municipalities)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, documents, contracts, and CPM scheduling
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce project documentation
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management/scheduling software
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification preferred; equivalent experience considered

T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $110,000 - $140,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidateโ€™s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
