Job Description
ITTConnect is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to work on site for a client in the Columbus, OH area. This is a potentially long term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services with over 300,000 team members in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the energy sector.
Job location: Columbus, OH.
This Technical PM will drive accountability and ownership on multiple internal initiatives for Middleware. We need people who have managed large programs/projects that require heavy coordination across cross-functional teams and can really drive schedule and budgets.
Ideally PMP Certified with good exposure to Project Financial and Risk management aspects.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate Project Delivery ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Create & maintain comprehensive project documents to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with established project governance.
  • Coordinate IT, Business Unit (BU), and vendor review meetings, ensuring effective follow-ups on action items and progress.
  • Track and coordinate the progress of the client's tasks and activities.
  • Report project status to the Executive team in order to assess risks, issues, and impediments.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and strategies for resolution.
  • Promote continuous improvement activities within the project team to enhance quality and optimize value delivery.
  • Establish regular cadence for meeting with the teams to monitor progress

Requirements
  • Proven experience in Project management,preferably in a technology-focused environment.
  • Quick learner and gets familiar withprogram vision.
  • Ability to conduct Executive-level meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Experience with middleware projects.
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall,Scrum/Agile principles and Kanban methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and strongcommunicator (written and verbal).
  • Experience with managing a crossfunctional team that includes both full-time and part-time team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively withdiverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with project documentationand management tools, such as Jira, is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and theability to manage risks effectively.
