Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and clients to help drive project schedules, coordination, documentation, budgeting, and overall project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing commercial construction projects from project kickoff through closeout
  • Support project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change order management
  • Review construction drawings and shop drawings to ensure project accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, documentation, and contract administration
  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, architects, and clients to help maintain project progress and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project management or project coordination
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, scheduling, project documentation, and project administration
  • Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial construction projects
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling and cost estimation tools
  • Experience with Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software platforms
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and site development processes
  • Professional certifications such as AC or PMP are a plus
